ABSU celebrates Rongjali Bwisagu

The All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) celebrated the Rongjali Bwisagu(Rangali Bihu)  festival where hundreds of  Bwisagu lovers from various parts of Kokrajhar district and its adjoining areas  includes community leaders, singers, dancers, veteran musicians, young and octogenarians enjoyed and danced in the festive spring festival with traditional Bodo music instruments Kham,Sifhung(Flute), Jotha, Jabkhring etc on Monday at Mijink Nwgwr ground in Kokrajhar.

   Promod Boro, president of the students union while extending his best wishes to the people of Assam on the Rongjali Bwisagu(Rangali Bihu) said that  The Bwisagu(Bihu) is a festival of spring especially for Bodos. He said the student organization has been observing the open Bwisagu every year with message of peace and tranquility among the society. He has urged all section of community to join hand for building healthy atmosphere and to develop every sector.
