Congress president Sonia Gandhi said on Sunday that the UPA government has done a lot during the last ten years. Now its turn for the people to retain the party in power to help them do more.
This was what Gandhi appealed when she addressed a huge rally in Lakhimpur to campaign for Union minister Ranee Narah.
She said that her party has been reaching the people in the time of any crisis.
She appealed to the people to judge the performance of the Tarun Gogoi government in Dispur and UPA government in Delhi.
“You have seen whatever you got from the NDA or AGP governments. Now see the differences with the Tarun Gogoi government,” said Sonia.
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita were prominent among those who attended the rally.
