NDFB-R fears riot rerun

Ranjan Daimary faction strongly condemned the Chirang incident where a tribal girl was raped before being murdered.

According to the outfit, a particular group has been trying to repeat the 2012 communal clash.

NDFB has appealed to the government to punish the culprits and adequate compensation to the deceased family.
According to NDRB(R), seven youths of a particular group attacked the two girls. They caught one of the girls while another managed to escape the goons.

The Mwihur International Theatre Festival has ended in Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). The seven-day festival took place at the Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari. NDFB-S ultra held

Security forces apprehend a NDFB(S) cadre from Basabil area under Gossaigaon PS on Sunday in Kokrajhar district. Based on information about the presence of the militant outfit cadres in the area, a joint team of police and army launched an operation where a listed cadre of Gossaigaon platoon of the NDFB(S) was arrested along with arms. He was identified as Sanjay Narzary of Borsabil village. A pistol, two round ammunition was recovered from him.

The Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has left three constituencies- Sorbhog, Rangia and Bhawanipur to the Bharatiya Janata party (BJP), its ally party.
