Rotten war of words

War of words among the political leaders seems to have escalating on every passing day in the run up to the Lok Sabha polls.

Barpeta BJP candidate Chandra Mohan Patowary on Tuesday hit back at Nilomoni Sen Deka saying the agriculture minister has been running a rotten department.

Addressing a poll rally in Bhawanipur on Tuesday, the former AGP president said that Deka was in the helm of affairs of a rotten department like agriculture and that’s why, he sees everything rotten.

His reaction came a day after Deka called Patowary a rotten banana.
