Republic Day observed peacefully at Nazira

Alongwith the rest of country, the 64th Republic Day was colourfully celebrated at Nazira under the aegis of Nazira Civil Aadministration with a day-long programme. The ceremonial function was started from 8-15 am at Nazira Play ground.  P.K.Das, SDO(C), Nazira hosted the National Flag. On this occasion 3 freedom fighters and 3 Social workers of Nazira were feliciated by the administration.

Ignoring the Assam Bandh called by AATASU and boycoot calls of different outfit organisations over thousands of people gathered to salute the Tricolour.
