In grip of Shivratri festivity

Devotees are thronging in thousands at the Shiva temples across the state for puja offering to the Lord on the occasion of Mahashivratri on Thursday.

From early this morning, devotees in the historic Umananda temple are waiting in a huge queue to attend the festival in the tiny island.

Huge gatherings are also seen in Ulubari, Navagraha along with other temples in Guwahati.
