Trinamool Congress has expressed deep shock at the self immolation of Pramod Boro for land patta issue.

Party president Mamata Banerjee in her address at the huge rally in Sarusajai said that the incident was really a shocking. She further asked party leader Mukul Roy to visit the bereaved family members to convey sympathy on her behalf.

Later, accompanied by MLA Dwipen Pathak and KMSS president Akhil Gogoi, Roy visited Boro’s family members in the afternoon and condoled the death of the KMSS activist.
