“Its wonderful.” That’s the exact word from Rahul Gandhi’s mouth when the Congress vice president got mesmerized as he visited a model hamlet showcasing the socio-cultural various of the various ethnic tribes in Nagaon on Wednesday.
The Nehru-Gandhi scion landed at the Nehrubali Playground in Nagaon at 11-30 in the morning.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi along with APCC president Bhubneswar Kalita, AICC leaders Avinash Pandey and Dre CP Joshi, Gandhi straightly drove to Puranigudam area to visit the model village. Gandhi spent there for 30 minutes with the residents of the model village set up very recently at the initiative of Rockybul Hussain. Then he left for Nagaon town to hold the road show.
