BPF to withdraw nomination!

BPF candidate Biswajeet Daimary is likely to pull out of the race for the Rajya Sabha polls slated for February 7.

Daimary on Thursday collected papers for withdrawal of nomination papers. Talking to reporters at the Assam Assembly secretariat he said that BPF can’t go it alone in the Rajya Sabha polls. He said that he would contest if he was sure of success.

“Otherwise I won’t contest. We will win only with Congress support. But if I am projected as the third choice, we won’t be able to manage the number,” said Daimary.
