Normal rail traffic remains disrupted after six oil tanker bogies of a goods train derailed in Dima Hasao district on Tuesday.
The accident took place in between Harengajao and Migrandisa in the district.
According to the Northeast Frontier Railway, the tankers carrying petroleum products jumped the tracks in the morning on the Lumding-Badarpur section.
The engine of the train was not damaged as the tankers were six bogies behind it. However, none was injured.
