Dwitiya  Sopan Testing camp held at Haflong

The one day Dwitiya  Sopan Testing camp organized by the  Kendriya Vidyalaya, Haflong   from 7 am to 6 pm on Sunday. As many as 67 scouts and guides of the KV Haflong took part in the camp where in activities like first aids training, knotting, trekking of 5 km tent pitching, woodcraft, oral test for Dwitiya  Sopan. This was followed by lowering of ‘Bharat scouts and guides flag by Troupe leader and camp-fire in which scouts and guides performed dances and song which kept the spectators spellbound.

The event was attended by the Principal, scouts and guide masters, all the teachers and the parents of the participants of the camp.

The Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission on Saturday will hear a petition challenging Assam State Electricity Board’s move to hike in power tariff.
