Although, the health condition of the ailing journalist has shown slight improvement, he continues to be critical. His stomach is partially damaged and swelling of brain was reported by the attending doctors, which included New Delhi-based physician Dr SC Sharma of Gangaram Hospitals, who visited Safar today.
Safar Ahmed’s medical treatment will require more funds and we hereby request sensitive donors to hand over the financial aid directly to his family members at the Dispur Polyclinic and Nursing Home, Ganeshguri, Guwahati.
