AGP again alleges code violation by Congress

The Opposition Asom Gana Parishad will approach the Election Commission alleging violation of model code by the ruling party in the panchayat election.

Addressing a press conference in the city on Wednesday party president Brindabon Giswami said they the ruling party leaders and workers are using the government machinery in the electioneering. Earlier the regional party complained it to the poll panel but no action was taken.

"We will again move the Commission with this allegation. Besides, some of our party workers are also being threaten by a section of Congress leaders in some places. We will again move the election commission," said Mr Goswami.
