Dimasa Student condemned attack on Student


The Dimasa Student Union,(DSU) Central Committee, Haflong strongly condemned the attack on Haflong Govt. College student and DSU member Swapanjoy Jorosa at his residence Digrik village under Haflong Police Station by unidentified miscreants.


The DSU further demanded immediate probe into the attacked of Swapanjoy and nab the culprits as per law. More over, Student body appealed to the authority to keep vigilance in the outskirts area of Haflong so that such incidents could not take place in the area and to bring the situation under.


In a Press meet held at Haflong DSU office on Sunday Barbi Kemprai, VP, DSU, Central Committee, Rupjjal Bathari, AGS, DSU, Central Committee and Kunal Gorlosa appealed all the denizens of Dima Hasao District to co-operate with each other in this situation to maintain peace and tranquility amongst all irrespective of castes, creed, sex and religion.

Pradip Ranjan Dev,a retired teacher, who was abducted on February 7 from Haflong was rescued today by the police.
