Militants nabbed

Acting on tip off Langting Police apprehended three suspected cadres of Dimasa National Revolutionary Front (DNRF) from Lungding Phonglo village between Manderdisa and Hatikhali near Maibang on Tueday at 8.30 PM. They are identified as Naren Basumatari-19, Surajit Hagjer--20, Samar Daolagupu – 22 of Hatikhali. Three numbers 9mm pistol, ammunition and some incriminating documents were recovered from them. They were later handed over to Maibang Police station for further investigation.

Huge cache of arms & ammunition recovered at Maibang

A hideout which is likely to be of DNLF was busted near village Lungkhor yesterday by the Army Unit located at Maibang. C-in-C of DNLF held

In a joint operation, one Laksham Lobongdisa, active cadre of Dimasa National Liberation Force was apprehended by 9 Madras and Assam Police at Maibang on Wednesday.It is learnt that a group of three members of DNLF had come to Maibang market to extort money from businessmen, the security personals after a chase apprehended one of there members while two others managed to escape from the security net. Further it is learnt that Thairing @ Sujit Hakmosa self style C-in-C of DNLF also arrested at Dimapur by Dimapur west police station last night.
