Bomb blast at Haflong

After a lull of few months, miscreants exploded a crude bomb at the residence of one Musafir Ali Laskar a businessman and a resident of Kali Bari colony of Haflong at about 7.15 PM today(Monday). Impact of the blast damaged the front side of the residence causing no casualty.


The police immediately rushed to the spot and launched a combing operation to nab the culprits in and around the Haflong area. No organisation has claimed the responsibility till the filing of this report.

Huge cache of arms & ammunition recovered at Maibang

A hideout which is likely to be of DNLF was busted near village Lungkhor yesterday by the Army Unit located at Maibang. C-in-C of DNLF held

In a joint operation, one Laksham Lobongdisa, active cadre of Dimasa National Liberation Force was apprehended by 9 Madras and Assam Police at Maibang on Wednesday.It is learnt that a group of three members of DNLF had come to Maibang market to extort money from businessmen, the security personals after a chase apprehended one of there members while two others managed to escape from the security net.
