The Assam government has written to the Central Bureau of Investigation to probe the Chauldhuwa incident where Arunachal Pradesh miscreants killed 11 villagers in Sonitpur district last week.Disclosing this, chief minister Tarun Gogoi told reporters in Dispur that his Arunachal Pradesh counterpart Nabam Tuki also wanted the probe to unearth the probe.According to him, altogether 11 villagers were killed and seven others have been remaining traceless.
Education minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday claimed that Congress and BPF candidates would win the Rajya Sabha poll. He said that no horse trading is required for it.Addressing a press conference in Dispur, Dr Sarma said that the results would be available on Thursday afternoon day before the poll.He said that the Opposition only pins hopes on 32 votes.
