This year, High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examination result of Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has brought lots of good news for the people of Dhubri district.
Washim Youhana, a student of Bethel Baptist Mission School of Dhubri town has secured the 18th rank in this year's HSLC examination. He has got letter marks in all the six subjects (General Mathematics, Advance Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies, and Hindi) securing 545 marks out of 600.
This year, a student of Dhubri Jatiya Vidyalaya, Mirsaidiee Hussain, has secured highest mark in General Mathematics in HSLC examination. He has got 99% of marks in that subject.
Again, Anamika Debnath, a student of Naba Bharat Jatiya Vidiyalya of Golakganj, has become the highest mark holder in Elective Assamese by securing 85% marks.
Samima Yesmin Prodhani of Madinatul Ulum High Madrassa of Gauripur has made people of Dhubri proud by securing the highest mark in General Mathematic in this year's AHM examination. She got 88% in that subject.
The overall HSLC & AHM examination result of Dhubri district is satisfactory. In HSLC examination, out of 12667 numbers of students of this district, 788 numbers of students have got first division, 2199 numbers of students are in second division and 6221 numbers of students have secured third division. The percentage of students passed in HSLC from this district is 72.69.
Again, in AHM examination, 1189 numbers of students appeared out of which 881 numbers of students are successful. 26 numbers of students have passed in first division, 312 numbers of students are in second division, and 543 numbers of students have secured third division. The overall pass percentage of the students from this district in AHM examination is 76.28%.
