Shah Ekramul Alom brought pride to the people of Dhubri district in H.S. Final

On 23rd May, 2011 Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) published this year's result of the H.S. final examination for all the streams-Arts, Science and Commerce.


Shah Ekramul Alom, a student of Sishu Pathshala H. S. School of Dhubri town brought pride to the people of the district by securing 5th position in Science stream. He got the highest marks in Physics (98%) and also got letter in Chemistry, Mathematics, English and alternative English. Again his sister Yasmin Hasima Parvin got five letters in Arts stream from the same school securing 81.4%. It is mentionable here that Ekramul had secured 13th position in his high school leaving examination.


Their proud parents, Pari Begum (mother) and Enamul Shah Khandakar (Father) are the residents of ward no.1 of Dhubri town. Ekramul let this correspondent know that his plan is to study engineering in IIT.


Moreover, people are happy with the over all examination result of the districts as they feel that this year the students of the district did excellent result. In Arts stream, out of 9074 students of the district who appeared in the examination, 505 get 1st Division, 2187 numbers of students got 2nd division and 4314 number sof students got 3rd division. 77.21% of students of the district passed in arts stream. In Science stream, 867 numbers of students appeared in the examination, out of which 348 get 1st Division, 322 got 2nd division and 56 students got 3rd division. Pass percentage in Science stream is 83.74. Again in Commerce stream, out of 233 numbers of students 209 number of student passed, 43 got 1st division, 90 got 2nd division and 76 got 3rd divisions. 89.69% of students of Dhubri district succeeded in Commerce.
