Operation CM for missing Khandu


More than 24 hours have passed but the information and where about of Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister is yet to be found. Some sources from the CM office said that he his safe but no one could find where is Dorji Khandu,CM of Arunachal Pradesh.


Three helicopters and more than 300 army people are being engaged in the search operation for the CM. Apart from Indian Army, Indian Air force, Sasastra Seema Bal (SSB) Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and others are also actively engaged in search operation of chief minister. Communication has been made with the government of Bhutan and they have provided permission for search and rescue in there areas. Meanwhile two union ministers have reached Guwahati to get updates about the entire incident.


Bad weather has become hurdled this morning as search operation got some challenges due to this. But as search operation is on it is expected that the information would be collected soon. It is to be mentioned that Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has also come into the scene as they have engaged satellites to take picture and help in the search operation of missing CM.


Yesterday there was confusion in the afternoon with claims made by Arunachal Governor and then CM’s office and Defence spokesperson. But the fact till now is that there is no correct information about the helicopter for which operation to find the CM and others are on. It has bought confusion amongst the people of the region as there were different comments from different sources. As the search operation is on in full swing, it is expected that latest information and authentic information would be available soon.

It's same like the scenerio of Bin Laden. Wheathr US government got him alive or dead none knows. But Obama knows very well dead Bin Laden s very mush riskier issue than the alive one. So speculation is there that he might had been caught much before by bribing some agents of ISI; same way whether Khandu had been kidnapped by NSCN (K) or not, none can confirm excpet the Indian government. The rest is just speculation and rumr. may be.

Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi paid glorious tribute to the martyrs at the Shradhanjali Kanon on the occasion of the Republic Day on Sunday.Gogoi arrived in the park at 8 in the morning and laid floral wreath in the memory of the martyrs at a brief function attended by senior officials. Then he left for Khanapara to attend the central function.
Much to a major relief, a hardcore ULFA militant has surrendered before Guwahati city police a day before the Republic Day on Saturday.Identified as Gautom Nath alias Chetia surrendered before senior police superintendent Anand Praksh Tiwary in the evening. Braving ULFA diktat, the Journalists’ Forum Assam is all set to celebrate the 65th Republic Day on Sunday.The journalists body is scheduled to observe the red letter day with flag hoisting at the Guwahati Press Club in the morning. Guwahati police busted a gang of thieves during an intensified operation in the city on Saturday.The operation was launched in the Bhutnath area where 11 thieves were captured and some stolen materials including a bike were seized from their possession.
