Dima Haso scam likely to rock Parliament

CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat says that his party would raise the multi crore scam in NC Hills of Assam in parliament. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Karat said siphonning off money meant for poor people is a grave and an unpardonable crime and that the guilty persons deserve punishment. Karat along with top party leaders held a brainstorming meet to formulate strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam.

There is no positive outcome in the district after scam issue and all the political leaders are busy in making an image for the upcoming election with the in the name of scam issue. The district name should be totally named as DIMA HASAO in every article as suggested...as it is officially accepted in the gazzated offices in the state.

Some unidentified miscreants shot dead a journalist in the heart of the Kokrajhar town on Saturday afternoon. The journalist, Jagjit Saikia, was working as a correspondent of the Amar Asom, a vernacular daily published from Guwahati.According to eyewitness , some unidentified miscreants attacked Saikia when he was standing in front of his office at the Brahma Complex in the heart of the Kokrajhar town.
