Dima Haso scam likely to rock Parliament

CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat says that his party would raise the multi crore scam in NC Hills of Assam in parliament. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Karat said siphonning off money meant for poor people is a grave and an unpardonable crime and that the guilty persons deserve punishment. Karat along with top party leaders held a brainstorming meet to formulate strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam.

There is no positive outcome in the district after scam issue and all the political leaders are busy in making an image for the upcoming election with the in the name of scam issue. The district name should be totally named as DIMA HASAO in every article as suggested...as it is officially accepted in the gazzated offices in the state.

A Karbi Longri National Liberation Front (KLNLF) militant was killed in an encounter with army in Karbi Anglong district of Assam on Sunday.According to information, the encounter took place when jawans of 5 Rajputana Rifles intercepted four KLNLF ultras at Langlakso. Third Front leaders will meet on Tuesday in Guwahati to complete the seat sharing deal for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The Third Front comprising AUDF, CPM, CP and NCP has already finalised the deal for altogether nine seats. Of them 4 for AUDF, 2 each for CPI and 3 for NCP.
