CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat says that his party would raise the multi crore scam in NC Hills of Assam in parliament. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Karat said siphonning off money meant for poor people is a grave and an unpardonable crime and that the guilty persons deserve punishment. Karat along with top party leaders held a brainstorming meet to formulate strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam.

There is no positive outcome in the district after scam issue and all the political leaders are busy in making an image for the upcoming election with the in the name of scam issue.
The district name should be totally named as DIMA HASAO in every article as suggested...as it is officially accepted in the gazzated offices in the state.

The National Investigating Agency probing the Mohet Hojai case is seeking remand of the former Chief Executive Member of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous who was arrested charging him with funding the DHD(J). Taking the first ever case since it was formed, NIA SP on Friday afternoon has moved a petition at the Kamrup Chief Judicial Magistrate Court to this effect and th4 court is expected to take up it on Saturday.

Three Assam police personnel sustained injury when DHD(J) rebels again attacked a special security train with bullets in North Cachar hills on Friday.According to information, the incident took place at a round 1 in the afternoon in between Lumding and Langting when the Dimasa rebels sprayed bullets on the train leaving the police personnel injured.
