Dima Haso scam likely to rock Parliament

CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat says that his party would raise the multi crore scam in NC Hills of Assam in parliament. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Karat said siphonning off money meant for poor people is a grave and an unpardonable crime and that the guilty persons deserve punishment. Karat along with top party leaders held a brainstorming meet to formulate strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam.

There is no positive outcome in the district after scam issue and all the political leaders are busy in making an image for the upcoming election with the in the name of scam issue. The district name should be totally named as DIMA HASAO in every article as suggested...as it is officially accepted in the gazzated offices in the state.

An uneasy situation is prevailing at the Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital in Golaghat after a suspected swine flu patient was admitted on Sunday. Assam confirms its third H1N1 virus infection case when a youth in Dibrugarh tested positive on Tuesday. The patient is Manjot Gogoi, a resident of Milon Nagar in Dibrugarh who is undergoing treatment at the Assam Medical College Hospital in Dibruagrh. The confirmation came from the Regional Medical Research Centre at Lahowal in Dibrugarh. That too a few hours after an ex army jawan Raj Kumar Sinha tested positive .
