Dima Haso scam likely to rock Parliament

CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat says that his party would raise the multi crore scam in NC Hills of Assam in parliament. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Karat said siphonning off money meant for poor people is a grave and an unpardonable crime and that the guilty persons deserve punishment. Karat along with top party leaders held a brainstorming meet to formulate strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam.

There is no positive outcome in the district after scam issue and all the political leaders are busy in making an image for the upcoming election with the in the name of scam issue. The district name should be totally named as DIMA HASAO in every article as suggested...as it is officially accepted in the gazzated offices in the state.

Both are believed to have discussed the modalities for talks with ULFA. Later talking to media, Gogoi said that they want all top ULFA leaders to be involved in the process. Two ULFA top leaders have yet to be released even a day after procured bail in TADA cases. Jail authorities have cited security reasons for the delay. The outfit's publicity secretary Mithinga Daimary is expected to be released on Thursday. ULFA vice president Pradip Gogoi has also yet to be released citing a delayed official procedure. According to source, Gogoi will have to ensure 12 personal bonds before the court before his release from Guwahati central jail where he has been languishing since 1998.
