Dima Haso scam likely to rock Parliament

CPIM general secretary Prakash Karat says that his party would raise the multi crore scam in NC Hills of Assam in parliament. Addressing a press conference in Guwahati on Monday, Karat said siphonning off money meant for poor people is a grave and an unpardonable crime and that the guilty persons deserve punishment. Karat along with top party leaders held a brainstorming meet to formulate strategy for the upcoming assembly polls in Assam.

There is no positive outcome in the district after scam issue and all the political leaders are busy in making an image for the upcoming election with the in the name of scam issue. The district name should be totally named as DIMA HASAO in every article as suggested...as it is officially accepted in the gazzated offices in the state.

Kapil Das, a Guwahati based photo journalist of The Assam Tribune group of publications died today at Chennai. Kapil was suffering from various diseases for few months. The planning commission has allocated Rs 7,645 cr for Assam for the current fiscal. The amount was fixed at a meeting between Chief minister Tarun Gogoi and plan panel deputy chairman Dr Montek Singh Ahluwalia in New Delhi on Monday.
