The entrance through which the Bhutias entered for trade to Assam were known as Duars (Doors)It is known that there were seven such Duars. The prominent among the Duars are -Khalingduar,Chariduar,Bwrigoomaduar,Kuriaparaduar,Naa-matiduar.The entrance of Udalguri and its adjoining areas from Bhutan was Bwrigoomaduar. Hundreds of young boys and girls clad in traditional Bodo costume have taken over the charge of maintaining discipline.Unlike other programmes, you woun't need police help.Police are in standby mood only. The well behaved volunteer boys and girls are ready to help and guide anybody. The session has taught other organizations of Assam a good lesson of maintaining discipline and command.Smoking in public, chewing of beetle nuts or paan, drinking alcohol etc are vanished for these days.Selling and drinking alcohol is totally banned. Thanks to the oganising committee.
