Wikileaks mirrors 1000+, no threat to Internet users

Volunteers around the world coming forward to hosts mirrors of Wikileaks and mirroring 729 sites till 22:32 GMT yesterday. Technically, these copycat sites consists of "only html/css/javascript/png static files" and do not "require much resource to host it", safe to access/browse and do not contain any malware.

Some volunteers around the world are coming forward to offer server space to host the Wikileak mirror site that contains many whistleblower contents including the infamous Cablegate releases that contais 250,000 US Embassy Diplomatic Cables.

Financially, Wikileaks got the recent jolt in terms of finance - the Swiss Bank Post Finance yesterday issued a press release stating that it had frozen Wikileak's defense fund and personal assets worth 31,000 Euros after reviewing him as a "high profile" individual. Earlier, Paypal has frozen their account which they used to collect donations.

Meanwhile, Julian Assange is arrested today in London. His name is listed in the Interpol's wanted list - wanted in Sweden in connection with alleged case of having sex without protection files by two women.
