Borgeet Workshop starts

A state level workshop on Borgeet has been started at Guwahati from September 16. Kesabananda Goswami inaugurated the workshop at Guwahati Press Club by lightening the lamp. State College of Music has organized the workshop with the collaboration of Cultural Affairs of Assam. Nrityacharya Jotin Goswami, Swapnanil Boruah, the chairman of Cultural Affairs and Sankar Prasad Bora were the chief guests of the workshop. The topic of the workshop is about Raag Ashuwari. On 18th and 19th the the workshop will be held on State College of Music, Rabindra Bhawan.

Citizen Journalism (CJ) and application of new media technology are the new age of communicating issues that impact lives of people on a daily basis. This message on plural and a more democratic media emerged out of a series of recently concluded CJ training workshops.
