Guwahati: The three tier Unified Command Stucture hunkers down here in Dispur on Monday to fine tune a set of strategies to flush out ULFA and KLNLF are now camping Karbi Anglong district to make the situation more volatile.
Coming out of the brainstorming session Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi says, “the unified command meet decided to launch the operation in the hills district to bust their camps atop the hills district.”
According to Mr Gogoi, who heads the three-tier structure, security is being tightened in Upper Assam and Indo-Bhutan border.
Backed by KNLF, ULFA builds camps in the hill district of Karbi Anglong to attack the Hindi-speaking people, he says.
Mr Gogoi says, ULFA and KLNLF are involved in the killing spree and the Government promises action against them.
The meeting further reviews the overall security arrangements state to ensure a peaceful celebration of the Independence Day.
