As part of its drive to create awareness and improve infrastructure, the army has been undertaking various projects under operation 'sadbhavana'. 287 field regiment of 2nd mountain artillery brigade under the aegis of DAH DIVISION has taken up an educational-cum-excursion tour of 10 students and 2 teachers belonging to rural and backward areas of Sibsagar district of Assam to Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The tour began on January 16 and will conclude on January 28. In a tragic incident this morning at Teliapathar, Moran 2 children Namita Gogoi (10 years) and Munu Gogoi (9 years) respectively died on the spot when a broken wall of a culvert has fallen off on them.
