AGP has surrendered regionalism to BJP: Congress

.Continuing the war of words, Congress has ridiculed the Asom Gana Parishad saying it had sold its regionalism to the BJP. Addressing the reporters, Congress spokesman Himanta Biswa Sarma said after its seat-sharing understanding with BJP, the AGP has surrendered its regionalism to BJP and that during the last assembly poll the AGP manifesto was based on core regionalism. In their earlier manifesto the AGP had said the people were their high command and that they had no bosses. He further said the AGP had earlier focused on price rise, but this time is silent on it. The health minister also said the AGP was critical of all other parties save the minority-dominated AUDF.
