At least five persons died and more than 30 others have been injured when three blast rocked Guwahati before the arrival of Union home minister P Chidambaram on Thursday evening.
The first one took place at around 3-30 in the afternoon at Birubari area here three persons have been injured. The bomb as kept inside a GMC dustbin.
This was followed but the blast at Bhotnath where three persons and ten others have been injured. It as planted on a bi-cycle which exploded at around 5-30 in the evening.
Minutes after it, another bomb rocked Bhanagarh area where three dead and 30 injured. The bomb exploded under the flyover.

The people of Assam fill totaly unsecuired in the condition of the serial bomb blast. To stop these type of rock, goverment as well as common people should aware. Goverment should control by any means extrimist and the illegal foreiners problems.

Guwahati: In connection with the abduction and recovery of the dead bodies of the CCI Manager Kailash Jha and PWD junior Engineer Ajay Kumar Deka, the City Police has arrested five persons, inlcuding an Army officer, for kidnap and murder of Deka.
