Two Ukrainian nationals arrested in Assam

Two individuals from Ukraine were apprehended by the Railway Protection Force in Badarpur on April 21. They had travelled from Agartala via the Tripura Sundari Express towards New Delhi.

Because these men couldn't produce a passport or visa during routine checks, they were arrested by the RPF at Badarpur Junction.

They have been identifying themselves  as Khrystinoski Vlodimir (31) and Nazari Vozniuk (21) from Ukraine.

The GRP has contacted the Ukrainian Embassy in India to find their names on the record.

Based on the preliminary search, their names were not found in the records by the Embassy. The Embassy is now running a thorough check to trace these two individuals.

Presently, the two individuals are in the custody of GRP.
