Daoharu Mungkhlong football trophy : Bongaigaon XI beat DASA
KOKRAJHAR: Bongaigaon XI Star Club,Bongaigaon beat Dotma Anchalik Sports Association (DASA), Dotma 1-0 in today's quarter final match of the ongoing Daoharu Mungkhlong football trophy being played at Dotma HS School playground in Kokrajhar district.
Topeswar Rabha of Bongaigaon scored the lone goal in 89th minutes before getting final whistle of the main game against DASA which led the team to win 1-0 goal and advanced to the next match.
Dhupdhara FC, Goalpara is playing against Bhopal FC, Madhya Pardesh on Friday.
Final match of the tournament will be played October 2.
Winning team of the competition will win a trophy and cash Rs.75,000 and the runners up Rs.50,000 and a trophy.

Several organisations including AAKRASU and ABAMSU have reportedly, called a 12-hour-long Assam bandh on January27 in protest against proposed UTC for BTAD.
These organisations are apprehensive that the Union government is going to upgrade the BTC as UTC.
Already, they have warned the Union government to abdicate such move.
Several organistions have expressed resentment over the Centre's move to upgrade the Bodo Territorial Council as Union Territorial Council.
According to sources the Centre would soon sign a peace pact with the NDFB .
