Two Minor Die in Flash Flood

Hojai:-Sensation Prevailed in Hojai District's Hayang Gaon on Wednesday when a  shocking  incident of death came to light. 

As Per Information, Two minor girls died in a flash flood while playing  in a field near their house. 

Reportedly, the two daughter's of Hayang Gaon Panchayat President Sushil Malik viz., Beauty Malik  (7 Year's old) and Purnima Malik  (3 Year's Old) died while playing  in a field due flash flood near their house.

Sources said,this flood occurred due to the Incessant rain since last three days.

Hojai: Two wild elephants died due to lightning strike in the Lankajan Dorjeesheet area under Hojai district along the Hojai-Karbi Anglong border on Sunday night. According to information, the two tuskers came down from the forest in Karbi Anglong district in search of food and were moving in the Lankajan Dorjeesheet area but died at wee hours due to lightning.While one of the elephants is a mature male elephant, the other is a male elephant calf, aged 10 to 12 years. Hojai:- Properties worth more than  10 lakh were reduced to ashes when a devastating fire engulfed 13 houses at Pachali in Hojai. As Per information, the incident took place  at around 10:55 am on Monday. It is suspected that due to short circuit this massive fire broke out.
