Hanuman Jayanti in Hojai

HOJAI: Hojai joins the nationwide Hanuan Jayanti celebrations with traditional Hindu religious fervor on Friday. The temples in the town are teeming with devotes who are waiting in serpentine queue to offer puja to the Hindu god from early in the morning.

 

The three days celebration started in the morning with a colourful where hundreds of devotees participated in the town showing His unflinching devotion to the Lord Rama.

 


Talking to the Correspondent One of the Devotee Praveen Sarawagi, said "Every year we take out processions because we have faith in Lord Hanuman,On this sacred day,We seek the blessing of Lord hanuman by chanting various devotional hymns and prayers, such as Hanuman Chalisa and reading holy scriptures like the Ramayana."
