Kokrajhar: BTAD chief Hagrama Mohilary, who also holds the finance portfolio on Wednesday presented the BTC budget Rs. 242987.48 lakhs and surplus budget of Rs. 1360.99 lakhs for the financial year 2018-19 highlighting education,road communication,health,PHE,Tourism,agriculture etc in the entire area.

He said the budget is mean for council development,which estimated receipts and expenditure of normal budget of BTC(councilised portion) for the year 2018-19 with estimated receipt of Rs. 242987.48 lakh and estimated expenditure of Rs.241626.49 lakh with surplus of Rs.1360.99 lakh. . The Opposition members termed the budget non-populist as no new agenda and initiative was noticed in the budget speech.
