IED expert rebel held in Chirang
KOJRAJHAR:The security forces deployed in the counter insurgency operation in BTAD areas have arrested a hardcore NDFB-S rebel during a combing operation in Chirang on Saturday.
Acting on a tip off, army, police and SSB jawans launched a vigorous operation in Sahebghat area where Himalayan Basinatary was held who is said to be an expert in IED manufacturing and explosion.
Police further claimed to have seized an IED from his possession.

Dr. Boro has been named for the translation of her book Hirimba (originally written in Assamese by Jayanti Gogoi)
