Journos condemn Sudip killing in Tripura

The Margherita Journalists Association President Ram Prasad Ambedkar and General Secretary Rana Jyoti Neog have condemned the death Sudipta Dutta Bhowmick Journalist of Tripura by TSR jawan on Wednesday. Ram Prasad Ambedkar and Rana Jyoti Neog said that Manik Sarkar Chief Minister of Tripura have failed to control law and order situation which within two months two Journalists were brutally killed which we demand that the culprit must be arrested and strict punishment should be given to them.In the last one year at our country 10 Journalists were merciless killed by perpetrators they are Gauri Lankesh, Sudipta Dutta Bhowmick, Hari Prakash, Brajesh Kumar Singh,Shyam Sharma, Kamlesh Jain, Subinder Singh Rana, Santanu Bhowmick,JJ Singh and Rajesh Mishra where at Assam in the last one and half decades 32 Journalists were brutally killed but till nobody has been arrested which we demand a CBI enquiry should be conducted and those who are present working Journalists have also have fear of there life which we demand to the Central Government to constitute a strict law against the killing of Journalists at our country said Ram Prasad Ambedkar and Rana Jyoti Neog.

Margherita AJYCP leaders immersed the effigy of Dr Nazrul Islam on the river Buridehing in protest against the deplorable conditions in the state hospitals. Thousands of people took out a rally in Margherita on Saturday in protest against the NDA government’s policy on non Muslim Bangladeshi refugee.  The protestors represented All Assam Muslim Yuba Parishad(S) Margherita Sub Divisional Committee, Margherita Regional Committee and Assam Jatiyotabadi Yuba Chaatra Parishad(AJYCP) Margherita Regional Committee who held a huge rally near the SDO office. Acting on a tip off Ledo Police nabbed a NSCN(K) cadre from Ledo Railway Station at 2.30 pm on Tuesday.
