Free Yoga camp from Nov 21 in Kokrajhar

Preparations are going in full swing to organise a three-day free Yoga treatment and meditation camp in Kokrajhar beginning from November 21.

 A reception committee(RC) with Rabiram Narzary as chairman and Derhasat Basumatary,ex-BTC executive member as secretary has been working overtime to make it a success.

 Local residents are also gearing up for smooth functioning of the mega event at Green field near BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar.The camp has been organised by Bharat Swabhiman,Patanjali Yog Samiti,Kokrajhar and being sponsored by BTC administration. Kokrajhar is hosting yoga camp for second time in Kokrajhar this year as first was organised in 2011 at the same venue.

Talking to reporters on Sunday in Kokrajhar,Rakesh,central in-charge of the Patanjali Yogapith,Haridwar told that all kinds of preparations are going in full swing to organise the camp with huge programmes.Yog Guru Swami Ramdev, Acharya Balkrishna will grace in the camp and interact with participants during the three day programme scheduled.

He said that the camp will provide free treatment for patients on all diseases like depression,kidney,tumer etc through yog phenomenon. He also said that meditations are also being organised for the participating yog followers.

 

  Derhasat Basumatary,secretary of the reception committee told that the all sub-committees are busy while constructing pandal and publicity about the ensuing scheduled programmes.He expresses his hope that nearly one lakh peoples are attending the camp and will take yoga knowledge from the lower Assam districts. He has appealed to all sections of communities to cooperate while making a grand success of the camp.
