How PPA MLA reached BJP meeting!

The Arunachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party said that the PPA Legislator of Markio Tado was personally invited by the State BJP President Tapir Gao to attend the Tali Maha Development Rally on Sunday which was attended by the Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Kiren rijiju and Tapir Gao State BJP President.

The MLA was persuaded by the State BJP President during the last State Assembly session onwards and later,he was invited to the State BJP office and wherein ,he came and agreed to participate in the said rally.

The team comprising of the Chairman organizing committee,District BJP President and Mandal President of Tali area met him and briefed him about the programme with an invitation to join,as it was a development Rally.

Even in the morning State BJP President Tapir Gao invited the MLA to accompany them in the chopper carrying the CM,Union Minister and Tapirji himself for the Rally.

The very purpose of Maha Rally organized by the Tali people along with BJP was to apprise the long untold sufferings of the people of Tali which remains unconnected by road till today and to bring to the notice of CM,Union Minister and State BJP President of the present Tali scenario of development.

The allegation by PPA of insultation and humiliation of local MLA is very unfortunate and BJP always expect positive criticism from the responsible opposition party and allegations of wasteful show of strength of state resources to undermine local MLA is unusual ,instead, the party should have extended full support for the development of the most underdeveloped assembly segment in the state.

The PPA should rather appreciate the CM and Union Minister for practically taking stock of the present developmental scene at Tali.

The commitment to restart the Tali-Yangte road by this month of November and sanctioning of Rs.5 crores to complete the bridge over Kumey river and promise to connect Tali with raod immediately by the young Chief Minister Pema Khandu is a huge relief for the entire Tali region,as the HQ will be connected by road for the first time. As a follow up action,the young CM has called the Chief Secretary Satya Gopal the next day itself and instructed him to take up the work of Yangte-Tali road on top priority..

Again, questioning the presence of Union Minister Kirenji is another surprising Issue,he being the local MP and the representative of people has every right to hear the problems of the place and his presence should have been highly appreciated and utilized to change Tali.

Army recruitment rally

The airmen recruitment rally conducted by the Indian Air Force at Dera Natung College saw as many as108 candidates apprearing in Group Y(non- technical) and 28 candidates appearing in group X(technical). Out of the appeared candidates, 20 got selected in group Y and 2 got selected in group X. Those selected would undergo final medical test at Tezpur.

Swachhata rally flagged off

Public health engineering chief engineer Tagom Ketan flagged off the Swachhata Rally by the district Swacchh Bharat Mission on Monday.  The rally that started from Government Middle School in New Market was participated by Joi Angu, teachers and school children and covered all important routes.      The message on defecation, clean Arunachal, sanitation for health, deforestation to sustain all sources of water, cleaning of  offices, schools, hospitals, streets roads, markets, bus terminals etc. was made loud and clear through posters, banners and slogans.

BJP and Congress in Arunachal Pradesh mire in bitter blamegame over central fund on road and bridge sector.  State BJP spokesman Techi Necha lashed out at Padi Richo, a day after the state Congress president blamed the Centre for deplorable road conditions. Tuki holding all party meet

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki will hold an all party meeting at his official residence on Monday morning to discuss the Chakma-Hajong issue.As such, two persons from each political party have been invited to attend the proposed meet on the said date and time. A thorough and threadbare discussion on the Supreme Court verdict for granting citizenship to Chakma and Hajong refugees is expected in the meeting.

Rajkhowa condoles Ahmed’s death

Arunachal Pradesh governor JP Rajkhowa has expressed shock at the sudden demise of his Manipur counterpart, Dr. Syed Ahmed in a hospital in Mumbai. In a message, he said that Dr. Ahmed was a distinguished and veteran person who will be remembered for his contributions towards education, culture and environment as minister of state in Maharashtra and Chairman of State Haj Committee. Water management workshop

2 injured Arunachal mishap

Two persons sustained serious injury when a Tata Sumo carrying them slipped into a river in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday.The incident took place at Paktu Tinali when the vehicle was on its way to Itanagar. As the vehicle was crossing the Sipu bridge it slipped into the river with all the passengers. All the passengers were shifted to the hospital while two of them are battling for life.
