Teachers Day in Tangla

Along with the other parts of the nation Teachers' Day was also celebrated in  the schools and colleges of the town to mark the birth day of Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan on Tyesday. 

Tangla College also organized a glittering programme with Prof Jayanta Chakravorty in the chair.

 

The students feted the teachers with phulam gamosa and packet of gifts each as a token of love and respect. In his speech Chakravorty said,that in this rat-race  competition students need to work hard to survive.He exhorted the student community to be  true to themselves to be sucessfull. Niyor Boro and Khanin Boro the faculties of the department also spoke on the importance of the day .The students also sang a number of songs on the ocassion.
