Khalnayika - promo released

In the flourishing genre of Assamese Movie Industry, had the privilege to watch the ‘trailer-promo’ of an Assamese Movie, Khalnayika - The Banned Loved Stories, by Hemant Nilim Das.

And the expression was wow, a movie – “Astonishing & Outstanding”, delighted to see an Assamese Movie with such a depth of presentation. The movie revolves around the characters, portraying the dark side being revolted by a ‘Women Protagonist”, who surpass the suppression of the “I am Man- world”. Editing, Cinematography, Effects and Music is awesome. The promo says, it all, “Khalnayika”, a thriller, full of drama and dark comedy.

Directed by Hemant, a must watch movie for the Assamese crowd. Audience will have the taste & flavour of a different genre with the movie. One must say, it will bring a revolution of a genre to the Assamese Film Fraternity and Industry.

Lead ActressFairy Priya Ahmed shines again. After her breakthrough in RodorChitthi, this is ofcourse a main lead hero (and not heroine) job which she has done ferociously.

Special mention for the work of actor Alok Bharadwaj... who is seen in national TV for his choosy work, who seems so subtle and minutely detailed. As far as I have seen him in his earlier work in star plus, he is a great method actor.

I could not differ but feel so similar that the expressions with the stage genius new discovery Jayant Negi whose first feature film Khalanayika must be a quite experimental for him.

This is of course the director and producer Hemant, who has a casting edge to cast all extremely flawless method actors. For us in Assam, we are yet to learn such professional ethics where cinema can be as local as this, and very international.

The talent of the director shows exuberantly in the promo, how sleek yet story wise logical it can be, and how films are getting more women centric.

For all Assamese folks, no more time to claim that Assamese films are not as per Bollywood standards, but rather a raw hard-core- dark yet comic ‘Khalanayika’ will probably solve the reputation of Assamese film being slow and sleepy.

Go and watch this epic dark thriller as an epitomic brilliant Hemant Nilim Das saga after his international hit debut pocket gangsters!

Proud to be an Assamese film audience....this Winter, 2017 Dec 8 will be sensational.
