Alleging about the neglect and deprivation faced by the Ahom community of Nazira constituency the Members of the All Assam Tai Ahom burnt effigies of BJP state president Sarbananda Sonowal and MP Kamakhya Prashad Tasa in front of the Nazira BJP office. Abhijit Dulakhakhoria (30) of Namti Dupdor gaon died in a bike accident at 9 AM on Thursday in the main road of Nazira town, when he was trying to cross the road. The other rider Nipul Gogoi (26) was also seriously injured and reffered to the Assam Medical College Hospital of Dibrugarh.
