Sonowal honours 4 freedom fighters

Assam Chief Minister on Friday felicitated for freedom fighters in New Delhi three  days after they attended a function at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Sonowal honoured Motram Hatimuria from Charaideo district, Narendra Nath Haloi from Nalbari district, Golok Hazarika and Nirmala Goswami from Lakhimpur at a function organized at the Assam Bhawan in the morning.
In his speech, Sonowal said,”Your commitment to the cause of India's freedom is a fountainhead of inspiration for us.  Your successful struggle against colonialism brought us freedom from British rule and this will continue to inspire and motivate generations to come.”

President Ram Nath Kovind felicitated them along with 93 other freedom fighters from across the country on August 9.
