Businessman kidnapped

Suspected NDFB(S) militants kidnapped a businessman in Lakhimpur district on Sunday.

Identified as Mukesh Agarwalla, he was kidnapped from Simluguri in Bihpuria in the morning at gunpoint.

Rescue operation is underway. Police suspect it a handiwork of NDFB-S militants who have been unleashing terror in the entire districts for the last couple of years.
