Amid massive security arrangement voters in Delhi are holding long queue in front of the polling booths on Saturday to elect their representatives in the assembly afresh.
Braving a biting coldwave, over 1.33 crore voters at 12,177 polling stations are deciding the fate of 673 candidates for the 70 seater assembly from 8 in the morning.
Apart from vice president Hamid Ansari, BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi exercised her franchised at 9 in the morning.
Polling officials told Assam Times in Karol Bagh that if this voting trend is allowed to continue, the turn out would be a higher one. The voting will continue till 5 in the afternoon. The results would be available on February 10.
