New Parl Secys take oath

Amid simmering reactions in the state’s political circle,  altogether 13 new parliamentary secretaries took oath on Wednesday. Chief minister Tarun Gogoi administered them the oath of office and secrecy at a function in the Sankardev Kalakhetra in the morning.

The new parliamentary secretaries include Rumi Nath, Hemanta Talukdar, Susanta Borgohain, Arun Phukan, Aroti Kachari, Monika Bora, Rupjyoti Kurmi, Ghanashyam Kalita, Habul Chakraborty, Kamalakhya Dey Purkayastha, Jamaluddin Ahmed, Sivsaran Basumatary and S R Subba.
