A bike rider died and another sustained serious injury when his two wheeler hit RBT Straight in Namrup Tea Estate on Thursday.
The accident took place in the morning when Sunil Konwar, the 19 year old son of a BVFCL employee who was riding on the bike lost control over the two wheeler and hit RBT Straight wire fencing.
"The mishap took place at around 10 pm and the bikers were on the way from Namrup Station Road to the Namrup Town. Sunil died on the spot while Abhinash Gogoi, who was with him admitted to the Assam Medical College in Dibrugarh where he fighting to survive.
